My practice spanning across drawing, text and painting is concerned with the ideas of conflict, contradiction and contrasts that we experience living within societies. My interests in these ideas are motivated by the tenets of my own nature that are a result of living dual lives of an artist and a businessman. The continuous tension I feel between values and desires, past and present, self and society, fantasy and practicality, order and chaos, empathy and hard-heartedness, help me reconstruct narratives in my works. These narratives reflect on the current socio-political and cultural landscape and often culminate as statements that can be interpreted plurally within or beyond societies.
